Lulu

You oughta see my Lulu;
She's from 'way down South.
She's so sweet the honey bees
Swarm around her mouth. (2)

My Lulu's tall and slender,
My Lulu's tall and slim.
The only thing that satisfies
Is a great big drink of gin. (2)

My Lulu, she's a dandy -
Drinks just like a man.
Calls for gin and brandy,
Doesn't give a damn. (2)

My Lulu hugged and kissed me,
Wrung her hand and cried.
Said I was the prettiest thing
That ever lived or died. (2)

You know you shouldn't gamble;
You oughta stay at home.
Pick up chips for your mommy;
Let those gamblin' men alone. (2)

If you monkey with my Lulu,
I'll tell you what I'll do:
Carve you with my Bowie, knife,
Shoot you with my pistol, too. (2)

My Lulu had a baby,
Born on Christmas Day.
Washed its face in brandy,
Called it Henry Clay. (2)

You oughta see my Lulu;
She's from 'way down South.
She's so sweet the honey bees
Swarm around her mouth. (2)
