Uncle's Nephews

In 1776, Great Britain said, "You'll buy my tea!"
She didn't think Old Uncle would deny that mad decree
A few of Uncle's nephews went and dumped it in the sea
And colored Boston Harbor brown with old King George's tea

Two-hundred-sixty men were killed the day we lost the Maine
Uncle's nephews fought and won the war we hadwith Spain
The charge that Teddy Roosevelt led up San Juan's terrain
Showed all the world that fighting Uncle's nephews was insane

In 1917, Old Uncle said to Kaiser Bill
You've gone too far this time and stop you now, I think I will
So Uncle's nephews once again took up their guns to kill
And stopped the armies which were led this time by Kaiser Bill

December seven, forty-one, the sky was clear and blue
Pearl Harbor's blood told FDR exactly what to do
Hitler, Tojo, Mussolini met their Waterloo
When Uncle's nephews went to war against that evil crew
