bugger old harte! bugger old harte! that red-faced son of an old blue french fart! for on arrival at the fleet's anchorage there a very sad story we next did hear!

 but a small reinforcement up from the cape induced the admiral to try a feat:

 in 1807 the argentinian army beat the british at the river platte-i imagine this is the action referred to.
