Subject: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: Greg F. Date: 17 Jan 16 - 04:42 PM Sincere thanks to Donald, Marco, Ted et. al. (and BeardedBruce!)- this sort of thing is becomming more and more common. I suppose when some innopcent people are actually killed by the howling mob of assholes they've raised up, they'll be satisfied. New York police say assailants chanted 'ISIS' while beating man 17 January 2016 (Reuters) - New York City police were investigating on Sunday an assault on a man who was pummeled by suspects shouting "ISIS, ISIS," leaving him with bruises on his head and face, authorities said. The 43-year-old man was attacked while walking with a nine-year-old girl in the Bronx around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the New York City Police Department. He was punched several times in the head, knocked down and kicked, police said. The victim, whose name was not given, was treated for injuries at a hospital and released. He had been wearing a shalwar kameez, a traditional South Asian outfit featuring a long tunic, the New York Times reported. The attack comes amid increasing anxiety in the United States over the threat posed by Islamic State, also known as ISIS, which has claimed responsibility for militant attacks around the world. A Muslim couple inspired by the group killed 14 people on Dec. 2 in San Bernardino, California, just weeks after gunmen linked to Islamic State killed 130 people in Paris. No one was immediately arrested in the New York assault, which is under investigation by the police department's Hate Crime Task Force, the agency said in a statement on Saturday. |

Subject: RE: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: GUEST,.gargoyle Date: 17 Jan 16 - 10:29 PM Silly, silly GREG F....(are you a Brit?) New York state, and especially The City are overwhelmingly Democratic and have been for years. I should know better than to get in a pissing contest with a skunk. This onus cannot be laid on the backs of Republicans. New York is one of the most Democratic party entrenched states in the union. The 114th congress elected from New York includes an overwhelming Democratic representation: SENATE Carolyn B. Maloney 23 years Democratic Chuck Schumer 17 years Democratic HOUSE Kirsten Gillibrand 7 years Democratic Brian Higgins 11 years Democratic Charles B. Rangel 45 years Democratic, District 13 Eliot Engel 27 years Democratic, District 16 Grace Meng 3 years Democratic ,District 6 Gregory W. Meeks 3 years Democratic, District 5 Hakeem Jeffries 3 years Democratic, District 8 Jerrold Nadler 23 years Democratic, District 10 Katheleen M. Rice 1 year Democratic, District 4 José E. Subject: RE: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: GUEST, 34 Date: 18 Jan 16 - 10:14 AM After deciphering Gargoyle's rudely tiny closing remark, I'd like to point out that facts don't matter when they are unrelated to the question at hand. The only logical conclusion to be drawn from his post is that he thinks that ALL people who live in an area that has a Democratic majority are Democrats. |

Subject: RE: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: Greg F. Date: 18 Jan 16 - 10:38 AM Almost, 34 - the actual logical conclusion is that he DOESN'T think. Also, that he is ignorant of the fact - or is ignoring the fact - that all of NY State, other than the metropolitan area, and particularly the rural, "upstate", is strongly Republican - hence the traditional and long-standing Republican Senate majority. But Garg will be Garg. |

Subject: RE: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: GUEST, 34 Date: 19 Jan 16 - 09:16 AM Greg F, it doesn't matter at all what the political make-up of New York or any other place is. That's a straw man and you're taking the bait. The point that you so ably made in the first place is that there are weak-minded idiots everywhere, and some of them will be swayed into action by hate speech. This hate speech, as olddude notes, is all coming from Republicans. Guest gargoyle, I'm afraid you don't have the intellectual qualifications to be part of this conversation. Perhaps it would be better if you sought debate partners that are closer to your level. I'd like to suggest reading up on logical fallacies as a place to start getting prepared to contribute effectively. There is a list and some explanations at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies |

Subject: RE: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: Greg F. Date: 19 Jan 16 - 10:50 AM So you're saying the campaign of bigotry that Republicans have been spouting for about a decade and which has of late become frenetic has had no effect? The idiots in the OP didn't "blame" anyone at all, nor did they attribute their actions to a "politician". And yet it moves. |

Gun Shop Shootout Over $25 Kills 2, Wounds 2 The Associated Press PICAYUNE, Miss. — Jan 24, 2016 A gun shop owner and his 17-year-old son died in a shootout over a $25 service charge, and another man and his 29-year-old son are hospitalized, Mississippi authorities said. Investigators don't know whether the customers or the owners started the shooting Saturday afternoon at McLemore Gun Shop near Picayune, and want to figure out just what happened before filing any charges, Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison told the Sun Herald ( http://bit.ly/1OFTOGr ). He identified the owner and his son as Jason McLemore, 44, and Jacob McLemore, 17, WLOX-TV ( http://bit.ly/1Jvbi9I ) reported Sunday. Michael McCool, 29, allegedly shot both with a 40-caliber pistol, he told the station. |

So, I imagine, the ammosexuals have a difficult choice - leave their substitute penises at home in order to go shopping, or leave them outside the shops and get them stolen. Hilarious. |

Subject: RE: BS: Thanks, Republicans! From: Donuel Date: 26 Jan 16 - 08:33 AM We all remember when John Mc. Cain pulled back from the hot hateful rhetoric that got out of control soon after Palin joined the race. Individuals make a difference. Once you give the power of violence to the powerless they will not relinquish that power without a fight. Every holocaust shares more similarities in their evolution than in their dissolution. Human violence seems to have a critical mass in which it can not be pulled back. A runaway reaction feeds on itself with such hate repulsion and revenge on all sides that defies explanation . Stay cautious and vigilant everyone. We don't always get a second chance. |
