Subject: Tune of Cindy by Chieftains but in Irish From: AmyLove Date: 04 Jan 16 - 02:50 PM I just heard on Raidió na Gaeltachta a song with the same tune as Cindy as performed by The Chieftains - which you can listen to here - but sung in Irish. I don't know if it's an Irish version of Cindy or a completely different song. I listened to it on the program Scoth na seachtaine, broadcast 03.01.16, about 30 minutes into the program. If anyone can help me identify this song, thanks so much. |
