Subject: Folklore: 8th Anniversay of Songs in Chorlton, Man From: Les in Chorlton Date: 30 Nov 15 - 09:20 AM Ok Folks 8 years ago we first gathered at The B**ch to sing songs mostly but not exclusively traditional and we have been singing at various places ever since. More than a 100 people have been to sing or play tunes with us and much fun has been had. Come to the Dulcimer on 1th December for Songs, drinks, food and friendship. Now at The Dulcimer I know this is an international site and people may not jet into Manchester UK for tomorrow but sometimes you can get to Manchester on motorways in less than a few weeks - don't we love the M6 and especially the M60? |

I remember we killed a cat running amock on the M61 on our way home from the first one causing a fair bit of damage to our old grey car. Spooky when cats wouldn't go near it for years - they'd hiss & raise their hackles... We'll be there in spirit. As will the cat... |
