Subject: BS: TV programmes for poor sight From: Mr Red Date: 05 Oct 15 - 07:44 AM I recently started getting an audio description of what was going on on-screen. It is quite frankly annoying with my pretty good sight. But I thought - good if you can't see well, yes a good idea, but still distracting. So I started pushing buttons and when it came to the language button "English" (all I needed but....) I noticed a little box with "AD" inside. Pressing again the "AD" disappears. So did the "Audio Description"! - fancy that. Then I remembered a recent previous button pressing episode! Humax HDR FOX T2 (Who reads manuals anyway) |

We've been caught out least a couple of times watching the first few minutes of a movie thinking it was some kind of deliberate post modern arty farty voice of god dramatic narrative device... |
