Subject: Tech: Acronis True image WD From: Backwoodsman Date: 22 May 15 - 10:21 AM I use Acronis True Image 2015 to back up my Win 8.1 system on a Buffalo 1Tb external drive. I'm contemplating replacing the Buffalo with a Western Digital 2Tb drive, which comes with 'True Image WD' which, it is claimed, is a version of True Image tailored for the Western Digital drive. Do any of our resident experts know if there is much (or any) difference between True Image 2015 and True Image WD, and what the possible positives/negatives would be in installing and using the latter, rather than continuing to use TI 2015? All advice will be much appreciated! |
