Subject: Roadie job at U of Texas Arlington From: Stilly River Sage Date: 11 Apr 15 - 04:59 PM Just in case any of our North Texas music sorts (or someone interested in moving here) is looking for work, a position has opened at the University of Texas at Arlington. Manager, Technical Operations.
It's hard to say how long this will stay open. They are required to remain open at least five working days. I am not sure when this opened, but if the announcement doesn't get many responses it can stay open for quite a while. Best to apply ASAP if you're interested, to play it safe. This is posting number JOBPOST0010661 and you have to use the online system to apply, creating an account to do so. SRS |

Subject: RE: Roadie job at U of Texas Arlington From: Leadfingers Date: 11 Apr 15 - 06:38 PM I don't think I will apply - Too Much hassle at my age , though I COULD quote a Good recommendation . Trying to get a satisfactory sound mix for an elderly Irish Melodeon player with severe tinnitus I apologised and said "I'm not REALLY a 'sound man' , to which he replied "I'm sure you're a very sound man" |

It isn't often that university jobs would mesh with Mudcat interests, but I figure with the number of skills some of our members have, if the music isn't paying the bills, a day job might help. SRS |
