Subject: Lyr Req: 'Held in the eyes of an Indian, carved i From: GUEST,Marcia Yale Date: 22 Mar 15 - 05:00 PM The complete phrase, which is half of the chorus, is "Held in the eyes of an Indian, carved in the face of a stone." It might be Canadian, and I used to hear it in the early 1980's on an alternative station, CFNY, out of Brampton, Ontario. Somehow the name Benchley sticks in my head, but I have searched many lyrics sites to no avail. |
