Subject: Folklore: Ink Pink From: MGM·Lion Date: 06 Mar 15 - 01:57 AM Did you ever play "Ink Pink"? -- the simple word game that consisted simply of a clue whose answer was a double rhyme, eg "Humorous rabbit -- Funny bunny". We used to play it a lot, about 40 or so years ago, it must have been. Best one I remember inventing was "Unhygenically served Indian food - Vindaloo in·da·loo". A friend came up with the rather nice quadruple, "Place where magic spring flowers grow - Hocus pocus crocus locus". Any contribs? ≈Michael≈ |
