Subject: RE: BS: Bank Holidays. A thing of the past. From: JHW Date: 25 Aug 14 - 06:42 AM Surely that was the idea of a Bank Holiday? Most people get a public day off. Pubs and amusements and shops etc. stay open to cater for those looking for something to do. The BANKS though are NEVER on holiday. They have computers ripping us off even as we sleep. |

Despite it being Bank Holiday Monday, she's still had to get out of bed, switch on the laptop, and get on with pressing work in preparation for the rest of the week ahead !!! Her only respite being, at least she can have the Jeremy Kyle show on daytime TV squabbling away quietly in the background. A rare treat indeed. |
