If you are cross-eyed - when crossing a road, look straight ahead, straight ahead and straight ahead again!

He had the bluest eyes she'd ever seen. One blew east and one blew west.

There's an old silly song my father used to sing with the lines "one eye on the pot, and one eye up the chimney with an ow ow ow" or something like that. "Wall-eyed" was the term. It'll all pop into my head later.

Oh there was a little drummer and he loved a one-eyed cook.
And he loved her, oh he loved her, though she had a one-eyed look.
With her one eye in the pot, and the other up the chimney.
With a bow wow wow.
Fol rol de dow a diddy.
Bow wow wow.

I cocked and eye at her, she cocked an eye at me and we sat there as cockeyed as could be. (I think it was done by Homer and Jethro.)

Harry Belafonte on the same album as Man Piaba.

I first heard the blue eyes line as a Challenger joke. I laughed rather a lot.

Eyes odd Lacoste?

I think Dad sang it "wall-eyed look."

Thanks, Eliza.

♫"I went to see my girl last night.
First time I ever saw her in the light.
She was bowlegged, buck-toothed, cross-eyed too,
She could look at New York and see Kalamazoo!"♫
