Subject: clerical abuse song site is up From: GUEST,mg Date: 01 Mar 14 - 08:45 PM In a most rudimentary form...it will be expanded and fixed and made a a bit prettier but the main thing is the message and not the lack of professional web mastery (and if anyone can help me with google sites I would love it). Anyway, the purpose is to provide apology and support to victims of clerical abuse, which is rampant and we have not seen tip of the iceberg yet. It cuts across all religions. As a Catholic, I notice that the most of course and so far most of the songs are about the Catholic situation. Anyway, would love more and also any messages of support. If you sing a song the clergy will not like, it should be from your own religion, but if you sing a song for healing..such as for the young man yesterday who said he tried to hang himself every week when he was younger..it can be from any religion or non-religion. I will be the final judge of what goes on and it will all be anonymous as first. We are nearly a year into Francis' papacy and still nothing tangible has really happened: a Pope with an intent to do something has the power to enounce dogma based on Matthew 18:5-7 would have been equally categorical as that text, haad he intended. He'd probably have been disposed of by the Vatican, though. As someone who has seen two generations of women in four fight them off, I appreciate the effort. We need more such activism. |

I recommend saving these files as .TXT or .HTM or another format that ANYONE can load.
