Well, good news..I have made reservations on my British Airway miles to Ireland...have to go to Dublin first but oh well. I also have to get to Boston...but it was way cheaper than I had feared and only took half my miles.

And the guy I made reservations with I think was speaking Irish...I am not totally sure of dates but around 15 April to 28 April give or take..should have my email conservation soon..just hope he was saying 2014 and not 2017 or something..

Have a SW ticket I have to use up soon so that should get me most of the way to Boston...

Will probably stay in combination of B&B in Dingle and hostel in Dunquin. Bus service is only like twice a week..how did my ancestors manage..oh yes..they might have been the "wild men" of Dunquin who ran up the mountains to Tralee in exchange for a pouch of tobacco.

Great, Mary- it's all happening!

Have you been to Dunquin before? Pretty remote down there, I'd be surprised if there was any bus service at all. Have you thought of hiring a car?

Extremely beautiful. We spent a wonderful couple of weeks over in Kerry and Clare last November, driving round the Dingle Peninsula in amazingly clear weather- though the 90 mile an hour mist arrived while we were taking in the Ring of Kerry :/

Had a great night of music in Dingle at O'Sullivan's Courthouse. Good music, and they were happy for us to play and sing too. Cosy and friendly.

All the best with your plans.

BTW_ I think you'd do well to ask Joe to move this up above the line as it is definitely music related, and it'll get more relevant notice up there.
