Subject: BS: My old Dualit toaster From: Will Fly Date: 16 Jan 14 - 07:44 AM Is over 25 years old and still going strong. I replaced an end element in it this morning - on;y the second it's had in all that time. Before we got this one, we had toasters that lasted a year or two, went wrong and were thrown out. This one was about 4 times the cost of a cheap one and has lasted, proportionately, much longer. Made in Britain, too - there's a novelty! I love the way that the pop-up mechanism is just a tilting manual handle and the timer is clockwork. So every part can be replaced. |
