Subject: Betty Sanders (1921-1975) From: Thomas Stern Date: 24 Dec 13 - 12:04 PM I am seeking infromation about BETTY SANDERS (nee SCHLENGER) during the 1960's up to her death in 1975. Her association with People's Songs, People's Artist's, and SING OUT! is well documented, but she seems to disappear after late 1957 after an international concert with others at Carnegie Hall in Oct/Nov. During that year she also recorded a lovely album of ROBERT BURNS songs for Riverside Records. Any recollections of her would also be of interest. Thanks!! Best wishes, Thomas. |
