Subject: Oxford 80-82 From: Raggytash Date: 03 Dec 13 - 01:16 PM During my time in Oxford (80-82)I ran into a young lad called Lance who wrote some cracking songs. There was a little difficulty for a time and Lance disappeared for a while. I never got the chance to write down any of his material although he gave me the words to Miss McIntyre. One of his songs had a great chorus which went:- Fair blows the wind to Australia farewell the land and the life I used to know sent down by the law, to a far Pacific shore sailing on a fair wind to Australia Does anyone have the verses and does anyone know where Lance is now. |
