Subject: RE: BS: reno in november From: mg Date: 19 Oct 13 - 06:49 PM I tentatively scheduled for Nov 1-6 at Peppermill. Prices are very volatile it seems. I got it for $338 for 5 nights...seems like a nice hotel. If they don't let me use my $200 credit for SW I will perhaps have to cancel..but that is why I like SW...you can cancel with no penalties etc. Like I said, I have gone to Reno once before and liked it. I stayed in Sands hotel, which is around $280 I think..includes air from Portland OR. I didn't choose it because the pool is outdoors and I don't know if it is open or heated and I am finding weather is colder than I was thinking it would be in NOvember..I thought balmy perhaps still. But I hope to get to Lake Tahoe by public transportation at least one day. |

Subject: RE: BS: reno in november From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 20 Oct 13 - 12:32 PM Enjoyed visiting Virginia City and other historic mining sites near Reno, Carson City had a U.S. Mint in the 19th c., I have a few half-dollars with the CC mint mark on them. The Peppermill is good quality. |
