Subject: BS: Good thoughts please for my daughter-in- From: jacqui.c Date: 01 Oct 13 - 07:09 PM My lovely daughter-in-law, who has made my visits to the UK so much better than was the case previously, fell downstairs last night and has broken both her ankles. She's now in the 'boots' and will be off work for at least six weeks, housebound for a lot of that time. She's in quite a lot of pain, as would be expected. Last year she went through five weeks of daily radiotherapy for a pituitary tumour and was just getting over the after effects of that when this accident occurred. Right now I just want to hop a plane and be there, but that isn't very practical at the moment so I'll do what I can from here. She isn't a Mudcatter, but is very dear to my heart and I would just like to ask for good vibes to help her recovery. |
