Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: ranger1 Date: 06 Jul 13 - 01:14 PM Agreed. I like Doctor Bronner's all natural version of it even better. |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: GUEST,Eliza Date: 06 Jul 13 - 01:18 PM I don't think I've heard of it olddude. But if it smells of pine I bet it's super. Most of the products that have been around a long time turn out to be the best. There's a museum near Norwich UK with packets on display of all the old products, like Zebra blacking for fire grates and Omo washing powder. Talk about nostalgia, seeing them just brings my childhood back in a rush! |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: olddude Date: 06 Jul 13 - 02:36 PM It has a really nice pine sent to it, makes everything shiny and clean and it disinfects also. My grandma used it, my mom used it, I use it. I have the latest gadgets also but nothing works as well as that old time stuff. It will cut through grease like a hot knife also. great old product |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Stilly River Sage Date: 06 Jul 13 - 04:10 PM I like the smell but can't use it - I get a sinus headache around the stuff. I have to use Spic 'N Span. ;) SRS |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Rapparee Date: 06 Jul 13 - 09:21 PM Basically it's sodium chloride, pine oil, isopropyl alcohol and tall oil (a/k/a liquid rosin). The flash point is 102F. Even though there is alcohol in it, it ain't the drinking kind. |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Phil Cooper Date: 07 Jul 13 - 10:03 AM I agree that it cleans excellently, I used it a lot when I had my day job of being a park district janitor. However I found the smell made me vapor lock, so I didn't like breathing it. At our house for the wood floors I like Murphy's Oil Soap. |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Mooh Date: 07 Jul 13 - 10:23 AM Follow its use with a luke warm rinse. Otherwise a combination of product and dirt will build up in corners and grooves (particularly between floor boards), possibly requiring stripping every few years. Put that job off with a decent rinse. A wet vac with a squeegee head will work wonders to pick up the rinse. It isn't required every time, just maybe every few applications. Just sayin'. Peace, Mooh. |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Rapparee Date: 07 Jul 13 - 11:53 AM Me, I generally use gasoline and an electric scrubber while I enjoy a good cigar. Ain't nothin' hardly ever happened some of the time. |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 07 Jul 13 - 12:51 PM A bottle of Pine-sol is hiding in one of our cabinets. Haven't used it since we stopped using kitchen ranges that burn wood. |

Subject: RE: BS: Pine-Sol From: Pete Jennings Date: 08 Jul 13 - 06:56 AM There's a song about it here on Amazon. It's an MP3 download and, no, I haven't downloaded it! |
