German title is "Nebel über'm Wassr" by Wanderfalk. This group seems to be long forgotten and gone. My tape also of this great song. Does anyone can provide me with the German lyrics and / or MP3 please ? Does anyone remember the group / song ?? Greetings Chris |

I can't find a recording of it anywhere. I found an interesting album that Allan Taylor did with Hannes Wader, but it didn't have this song. WanderFalk has a YouTube channel but I didn't find this song there. |

I found two eBay auctions: their album "Mir sin noch lang nit över Schmitz Backes" (a dialect phrase meaning "It's still a long way until we're safe") from around 1980, and a 1981 anthology of groups from Bergisches Land - a region in Nordrhein Westfalen - titled "We kumm ich denn zor Pooz erenn?" ("How can I enter through the door?"). Both albums do not have "Nebel überm Wasser" on it, though. Main members of Wanderfalk were Sabine and Norbert Hanewinkel who later were part of Saltarello, a band playing medieval music. |
