Subject: BS: Life Gets Interesting at 30 ?? From: Claire M Date: 10 Jun 13 - 09:41 AM Hiya, Got some lovely stuff this year. Always seem to get long scarves, which look lovely but aren't a good idea for me cos they get caught everywhere so I end up passing them on. I hate anything round my throat, unless it's a very loose necklace, or said help-summoning one. My aunty said I'd got a Steeleye Span cake – she had this crazy idea in the middle of the night to make this cake in the shape of a straw hat complete with green willow. It said "CLAIRE" & "30" "ALL AROUND MY HAT". I'd never heard a cake speak before. All my flatmates say that when/if they see anything to do with said band they're reminded of me – shame we'd half-eaten it before I got back! Does life really get interesting at 30?? |

I was old enough to control many aspects of it, but young enough to have the stamina to cope. (purposely ambiguous.... it would take hours to type details.) |

This year - my 65th - has been, easily, the most exciting of my life! It's certainly not what I was expecting of my 65th year when I was 30! |
