Tomorrow, a nice card and a scoff of fried clams and chips from Deluxe French Fries Restaurant and home sauted scallops. I do the scallops naked in canola oil and a bit of salt free marg. The oil allows high heat and the combo with marg makes a VERY gummy build-up that browns to a taste that is manufreak! Yeah... "manufreak"... my friends like that one too. |

She went into a decline in early June, 2012 & passed away near the end of October. Today, for my first Mother's Day as the oldest generation, I heard from both of my sons & spent the day with my best friend, who, also, heard from her kids, but they didn't spend the day with her. It's good to have friends! Hard times, Elmore. So sorry to hear! I don't think there is anything sadder than kids dying before their folks. best to all, Barbara |
