I have suspected it. ;-)

that's why I thought y'all would enjoy reading the article.

Apparently the owner of Whole Foods has done it too.

You'd think he could have hired someone to trash the competition. But he did it himself. LOL

Adams might be a little different than others who've done similar stuff, since almost everything he's ever done has been pretty much tongue-in-cheek. While "Dilbert" looks like he's satirizing office workers it's really the managers who like him, since "at least I'm not as bad as the pointy haired guy" allows them the pretend to be "understanding" of employee gripes (but of course only because the top pay grades don't really get it, and can't see that he really is insulting THEM more than the rest).

I'd have to see a little more of what he actually posted before deciding to join the lynch mob, although I'd poke him in the ribs with a bendy stick in an instant, just 'cause he's that kinda guy.

And I'll agree with no question that some of the others cited for what looks similar really were "clueless as ole' pointy hair." (Or maybe one of the corporate accounting trolls.)

Like a true diplomat, he has a record of

"never offending anyone ...

...          ...          ...          ...          ...          by accident."

He might have been a little disappointed that it took them so long to figure out his punch line, although he'd probably have expected they wouldn't get it.

John
