Even Alaska's Democratic senator, Mark Begich, went with the filibustering. I wrote him about it and I'm going to keep on writing him. I hope there is a storm of protest- he is in his first term and is due to run again next year. As far as I'm concerned, he'd better make a good case for himself. |

A flood in my basement, and a friend who cut a big chunk out of his thumb. It was a kitchen accident. I had to drive him to the hospital. With all those things on my mind, I had little time to worry about what's happening in the USA Congress. As for Chongo...not sure what his day was like. |
