Subject: BS: need help with copying for lullaby proj. From: GUEST,mg Date: 14 Apr 13 - 01:48 AM I am finally getting my rear in gear to being copying as many lullaby cds as I can...still have a few songs to add but we'll go with what we have for now since I am focusing more on the cannery one which has deadlines. What I would love is for people who might have stacks of new cds sitting around, left over from a work project or whatever, copy them at home. I can provide some cds to some people but money is very tight. I know lots of people have stacks of cds they will never use and this is a great use for them. I want them to go into colored sleeves as well..again I can provide some but not all...white sleeves are OK but since there is no cover the colored ones are prettier. Then we have to write name of cd on the cd itself iwth a colored SHARpie..could put a sticker or two on the sleeve but not on cd itself since it can jam machines. Let me know if you have time and/or supplies. I am trying to get a big batch out to hurricane sandy children and once I get the Japanese song on will also get to Japan..although I suspect they could copy their's over there...in fact they will have to because shipping would be too much..dirt cheap shipping media mail here. If you don'[t remember the project it is to get lullabies out to children (or adults) in poverty, trauma, distress etc. About 15 songs that I think are quite lovely and strong..fine for older children..not really babyish songs...I listen to it over and over... If you have your own target group you can buy cd for 5 plus shipping and copy yourself, or Stewart has arranged something on soundcloud you can copy from for the purpose of getting to children or adults in need. |
