Subject: High Tide From: cooperman Date: 22 Jan 13 - 06:21 AM Does anyone know what happened to Tony Hill, guitarist & song writer? I know he formed a band called Fiction about 10 years ago but no recent news. I've got back into this band from the early seventies having got the two albums on CD. Brilliant musicians and years ahead of it's time. With the violin it could be described as very early folk rock (but pretty heavy!) Steve |

Subject: RE: High Tide From: cooperman Date: 23 Jan 13 - 03:28 AM Tony Hill was in a sixties band called the Misunderstood before High Tide. Simon House, the electric violin player ended up playing with David Bowie, Hawkwind, Third Ear Band and Mike Oldfield so quite a pedigree. |
