Subject: BS: A Plug For My Friend's Book From: LadyJean Date: 05 Jan 13 - 10:44 PM Lord Chocolate Here I Am, by Margaret Peacock, one of my oldest friends, is now available on Createspace for $5. We went through a lot getting it on there. (Margaret uses the library computer for email. Which is why I put the book on the site. Then she had to proofread it, on the library computer, which took quite a while.) But now it's there. It's the story of Samantha Sitlow, a teenage girl, who has lived in a series of quirky foster homes, on a trip to her old neighborhood, with a small boy she calls Lord Chocolate. They meet a collection of odd characters, as they try to avoid a bully and Sam tries to get Lord Chocolate to someplace safe. It's entertaining, and well written. I hope some of you will check it out, and even order a copy. |

Subject: RE: BS: A Plug For My Friend's Book From: GUEST,999 Date: 06 Jan 13 - 02:52 PM This is an interesting thread. I saw another wherein a singer/guitar player posted that he'd released a new record (CD). Not a soul posted to it other than him. Perhaps why is that the singer/guitar player (most beautiful sounding guitar I've heard in a long while) had seldom/never supported others with their new releases. What goes around . . . |
