Subject: BS: Ukash virus From: Jim McLean Date: 28 Dec 12 - 01:51 PM I managed to remove this virus from a friend's computer. The company responsible requested money to remove this virus. Could they not be prosecuted for infected then demanding money for the cure? Surely they could be traced from where the money has to go? |

Subject: RE: BS: Ukash virus From: Don(Wyziwyg)T Date: 28 Dec 12 - 06:57 PM If they take payment via Ukash, it is untraceable. What you are sending is effectively currency notes which they can turn into cash with nothing more than presenting the voucher. They are rather like bearer bonds in that anybody can cash them anonymously. Scammers love them. Don T. |
