They call it North American Aerospace Defense (NORAD) Command. It has its headquarters at Colorado Springs. The commander is the same guy who's in charge of US NORTHCOM. The deputy commander is always a Canadian -- at present, it's the guy who commanded the NATO force in the 2011 away game in Libya. The staff is both Canadian and American. You fellas have been in NORAD with us since 1958. Try to keep up. |
