Subject: BS: Point LePreau nuke 2012... sorry Charley From: gnu Date: 23 Nov 12 - 05:16 PM Point LePreau, NB, Canada nuclear electrical power generating station is back on line today. It WILL be done on time and on budget is what the told us. 3 years past the 1.5 year due date and a billion dollars over budget BUT I am okay with that because it HOPEFULLY means that Charley Noble and sIx and I and other Mudcatters won't get fried as the delays were due to the fact that they wanted to make sure it was done "right". I am NOT nervous. I just hope I win the Loto tonight. Tennesee? Scotland? Of course, with the $50M jackpot, I could have a home in both... maybe Sweden? I could understand the Swedes. And I could hire someone to put my new furniture together. |

Subject: RE: BS: Point LePreau nuke 2012... sorry Charley From: number 6 Date: 23 Nov 12 - 09:18 PM I'm nervous. In fact I'm very nervous. I know some of clowns that did contract work there. I wouldn't trust these guys to install an under the counter dishwasher, let alone help in the refurbishment of a nuclear powered generation station. biLL who is residing his house with lead. .. :[ |

Subject: RE: BS: Point LePreau nuke 2012... sorry Charley From: Charley Noble Date: 24 Nov 12 - 11:12 AM Thanks for the sad news, gnu. Given the prevailing winds, we here in Maine have always been more concerned about the Seabrook Nuclear Station in New Hampshire than Point LePreau. However, I'm sure it's a dark day for the folks at Blacks Harbour. Who would stop there in the near future for a box of their smoked mussels? Charley Noble |
