It's laughable to call Obama a liberal, a socialist, a marxist or anything else like that, but the people who do call him such things (and attack him for it) just have no idea what they're actually talking about. They're uttering standard partisan rhetoric, that's all, and they believe it! What he really is, is a somewhat right of center politician who does pretty much the usual kind of thing in Washington...meaning he cooperates with Wall Street and the banksters and the military, and he fights foreign wars in a number of places. He seems to favor fighting with drones (and using private contractors like Blackwater) rather than exposing large numbers of USA troops to danger. It's sort of like fighting an "invisible" war, and it doesn't result in so many body bags coming home.....just plenty of dead bodies of foreigners in foreign lands. Americans don't count the dead on the other side. |

We can't decide on our leaders lately, nothing decisive. However, we appear to be at one with fearing the worst if Romney was in control that side of the pond. USA is big, very big and whilst it is up to the USA citizens to elect their leader, the effect on everybody else is enough that it is not wrong to hold an opinion. To be fair, he would be considered a conservative over here. Romney was considered a sick joke, especially when he came over and tried telling us how to run The Olympics. Not every day I salute our Prime Minister, but when he pointed out Romney set his up in the desert, and how easy it is to do that compared to London......
