Or are they just plain ignorant? Don't they know that apes and monkeys are different and that apes don't got tails? We don't "all look the same", you know. Not like you poor human saps, teetering around unsteadily on your looooong legs, barely able to climb trees at all, and utterly incapable of disassembling and cleaning a gun using only your toes! How would you like it if someone kept calling you a Belgian hairdresser, for example, when you clearly are not one? And it's an issue for monkeys too. Monkeys find it disturbing when people mistake a chimp for a monkey. |
