Subject: BS: Why not the womenz? From: GUEST,Chongo Chimp Date: 11 Oct 12 - 12:12 PM Ha! Thought it was Bobertz, didn't ya? Well, it's me. How about that. So here is my question for the day. Why ain't the womenz in charge of things around the world instead of a bunch of old men in suits and/or religious vestments? Huh? Look, the womenz on average are smarter, more law abidin', they take better care of themselves, live longer, are more responsible, they mature faster than the boys do, you can depend on 'em, they're more peacefully inclined, and they look better! Ain't that enough reason to be runnin' a country? I ask you! Instead, we got people like Arnold Schwarzenneger and Henry Kissinger in charge of things. It's a friggin' disaster! So, for a change....Why not the womenz??? If elected, I will take one year to set things basically in order, one more year to make sure it's all workin' out right, then I will resign and hand the country over to the womenz! - Chongo p.s. Beat that, Bobertz. ;-D |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: Amos Date: 11 Oct 12 - 02:51 PM Being female is one of my higher criteria on local elections where I don't have much data on the candidates. I've always been a firm believer in estrogen, correctly applied. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: Little Hawk Date: 11 Oct 12 - 09:17 PM You're all missing the real most probable key to Chongo's latest dramatic announcement. He's trying to snag the female vote. Females comprise at least half of the voting public, you know. And he's also always liked them anyway... Way to go, Henry! ;-) You have played the Devil's Advocate in your usual adroit and outrageous manner, and we'll see if any of the fish here rise to sieze the juicy bait you have offered them. Tomoe Gozen is one of my personal heroes, Rap! I'm delighted that you mentioned her name. I have 3 books about her. And don't forget Joan of Arc, one of the most effective military commanders in history. Then there was also La Pasionaria during the Civil War in Spain, Elizabeth the First of England, and Katherine the Great of Russia. What Chongo seems to be saying is that we need more women in command, not that there haven't been any in the past. |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: Rapparee Date: 11 Oct 12 - 09:44 PM I want him to go head-to-head with any of those. Or, say, Theodora of Byzantium. Or Liz Bathory -- she'd show him a bloody good time! |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: Little Hawk Date: 11 Oct 12 - 10:03 PM Interesting notion, Rap. His present girlfriend, Renata, seems to provide him with plenty of challenge. I think it's extraordinary that he has offered to resign in 2 years if elected. Imagine if Bush had done that! He'd have won by a landslide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: LadyJean Date: 12 Oct 12 - 01:29 AM I learned to hold my own in a fight from the women in my mother's family. Mother's first reccomendation was to kick hard, aim for the groin, and use the heel of your shoe, it will hurt more. Note, I was learning how to deal with an attacker, who would, probably be larger and stronger than myself. It was not a sport, but a necessity. Men see fighting as a sport. They play by rules. Women see it as a necessary evil. We do what we have to, even if men call it dirty. |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: Bobert Date: 12 Oct 12 - 09:18 AM Fine with me, Chongz... Hey, they can have it... Might of fact, we need constitutional amendment saying that they should... Think about it this way... No wars... Give us men more time for the important stuff like arguing about car stuff, scratching, peein' in the woods and getting drunk... Bobert on the road in Richmond |

Subject: RE: BS: Why not the womenz? From: Rapparee Date: 12 Oct 12 - 10:30 AM No, LadyJean, if someone is trained in hand-to-hand combat they fight without rules -- anything goes: kicking, biting, eye-gouging, whatever works. They use whatever weapons might be available: fingernails, broken glass, shoes, keys.... And they attack all at once, full out, no wind-up, immediate and full violence. At the end someone is badly injured or dead and it should be the other guy. That's the way I was trained and why I walk away from people who want a fight. |
