However, I was punished by being added to their good cause spam list. They both had "if you want to be removed" links. The return addresses often don't go to real people and nobody will get an angry reply, but who knows? Maybe some will. ...and I don't sign on-line petitions any more because I hate opt-out mail lists. |

I wrote to Stevie "The Hair" Harper and about four months later received a form email telling me how important my concern was to them. I replied with, "I am thrilled. Would you please tell me what my concern was?" I have yet to hear back. I was 63 when I sent the original email. I'm now 65, getting older by the second, and chances are good I'll kick the bucket before I'm reminded of whatever I wanted to be reminded of. |

From: number 6 Date: 29 Sep 12 - 10:41 AM Moishe's coleslaw (from Montreal) is damned good! 999 .... off topic from this thread ... but, I bumped into some old crusty, rusty busker here in town ... he was playing some cheap accoustic guitar, a homemade harmonica rack made out of a coat hanger ... he was pretty good and knew how to get a wonderful rough blues sound out of these instruments, the way the music should sound ... he wanted me to take his harp and join in .... I hesitated, and graciously denied his request after I saw some spit dripping out of it ... anyway, I got to talking this guy and he was interesting ... he said he used to play the coffee circuit back in Toronto and Montreal back in the 60's ... I asked if he knew you and he said he did, he even has(still) a copy of your lp the Singer Songwriter Project. I just thought I'd tell ya. biLL |
