Subject: BS: Another Bobert Wierd Story... So today.. From: Bobert Date: 24 Sep 12 - 07:43 PM So today the P-Vine and I had several things we needed to do up in Charlotte (NC) and had lunch at one of our favorite sandwich shops... There were a couple of women sitting outside dressed very stylish... Now the P-Vine appreciates people who have a stylish look so she stopped at their table and complimented the younger one who was especially stylish... So I stopped and walked back to collect the P-Vine 'cause she has a way of getting into long discussions with perfect strangers... Well, apparently the other woman was this young lady's mother and said, "This is my daughter and she's just been picked to be on the X-Factor"... I don't watch it but I know it's like American Idol and so I asked if she was a judge or a contestant... Guess that was flattering to her so she said she was singer... Next thing ya' know I'm saying "Me, too" and we're swapping YouTube stuff and all... Then I come home and check this woman out and, geese Louise, she's hot and Simon loves her... BTW, her name is Julia Bullock if anyone wants to check her out... She is hot... B~ |

Subject: RE: BS: Another Bobert Wierd Story... So today.. From: GUEST,leeneia Date: 25 Sep 12 - 09:46 AM Ah, clothes. Remember clothes? Back before young ladies encased themselves in black polyester, one-size-too-tight-for-all? Remember prints, remember colors, remember "The garment should make you look good"? Remember 'It shows off your eyes"? Remember matching the plaids? Sigh... Bobert, I applaud P-vine for approving of 'stylish,' and I'm glad your little adventure came out so well. You have been brushed by the angelwings of fame. |

Subject: RE: BS: Another Bobert Wierd Story... So today.. From: Desert Dancer Date: 25 Sep 12 - 01:43 PM Not sure I understand the fashion statement behind her dangling suspenders (braces, for the UK-speakers) in the video I watched. Aside from that, it's always fun to (re)discover what a wee, small, teeny-tiny world this is. ~ Becky in Tucson |

Afterwords one of my very close friends (she is a supermodel and on the cover of Elle Magazine all the time) took me to dinner. When she left she said, I will talk to you soon love you. The young guys at the other table dropped their jaws. I said "Not bad for an old guy huh" LOL one of those priceless look moments tee hee fun messing with their heads tee hee |

Subject: RE: BS: Another Bobert Wierd Story... So today.. From: Little Hawk Date: 25 Sep 12 - 10:45 PM I wonder what Henry would say about Chongo's interest in human females? Chongo really goes for slinky women in tight skirts, specially those Dragon Lady skirts that are slit on the side. He also digs stilleto heels, dark stockings (or fishnets, even better!), and long cigarette holders and lots of eyeliner. He's forever stuck in the film noire world of '40's crime films, and looking for women who look like they stepped right out of one. He's mad about Uma Thurman in the movie "Pulp Fiction". He met Uma awhile back while cruising around the Hollywood restaurants with his drinking buddy, Clint Eastwood, but she turned him down when he suggested they go back to "the treehouse" for a nightcap. Good thing too! Renata would probably have killed him. |

Well, I'm a bit obsessed with those slinky and exotic-looking types, I'll have to admit. It's sort of like Sir Edmund Hillary and the mountain. It's the sheer challenge of the thing. |

Subject: RE: BS: Another Bobert Wierd Story... So today.. From: GUEST,Chongo Chimp Date: 26 Sep 12 - 07:01 PM Careful, Bobertz. I met that young woman myself a few months ago when I was in Charlotte on business for a couple of days. We got to talkin' about the election and primate's rights and the APP and we had a coffee together at a local spot for about a half hour. She was givin' me "the look" the whole time. Nothin' came of it cos I figgered she was way too young, and I got prior committments anyways, but I did give her my autograph. All I'm sayin' is...watch yerself, buddy. You don't want to make any fatal slips when runnin' for office. You are still in the race, right? - Chongo |
