We've had at least 4 inches of rain in the last 24 hours... Another inch or so and the dammed end of our pond will wash out our driveway and we'll be stuck here... Juneau, Alaska, has had a wet, chilly summer (as in temps in the low 50s and double normal rainfall, with only an occasional week or so when normal temperatures are in the 60s. 80s? Forgeddaboutit. OK, 80F is too hot for me, anyway, but 70 degrees might be very nice. |
