Subject: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Greg F. Date: 17 Sep 12 - 04:03 PM Thought I'd add to the crowd of idiotic, inane "Real or Fake" threads. Maybe I can be awarded the F**kwit Of The Day award. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Jack the Sailor Date: 17 Sep 12 - 04:19 PM I think that Krinkle and Sawzaw have that wrapped up between them at least until the election and for four more years if The President is reelected. You have my vote for third, for today. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Dead Horse Date: 17 Sep 12 - 04:36 PM Gravity is not fake, just extremely weak. Unless we are talking about the gravity of Old Speckled Hen or Bodgers Brewery Black Nadger. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 17 Sep 12 - 05:07 PM Gravity is like telephone service. It works as long as you remember to pay the bill. My Aunt Helen forgot to pay her gravity bill once. Her gravity service was disconnected while she was hanging laundry out to dry. Fortunately, she was able to grab onto the clothesline before she floated away, but she had to continue hanging on for several hours until Uncle Bob came home from work, pulled her down, and tied a cinder block to each of her feet. Of course, by then it was too late to call her GSP (Gravity Service Provider) to have her gravity reconnected that afternoon, so she had to hang out on the ceiling until they opened in the morning. Luckily, Uncle Bob was able to give them a credit card number to charge the bill to, they flipped a switch, and Aunt Helen fell into the middle of their king size bed. Don't forget to pay your gravity bill! It can ruin more than your credit score! |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Ed T Date: 17 Sep 12 - 05:50 PM My observation is that gravity seems to have a weaker impact on fake boobs, vs real boobs if that helps answer the question. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Gurney Date: 17 Sep 12 - 05:50 PM BWL, so who paid the gravity bill for the cinder blocks? Did Uncle Bob steal them? As a judge might say, "I hope the gravity of this offence will weigh heavily on your mind!" |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Ed T Date: 17 Sep 12 - 05:53 PM My observation were limited to unfettered real and fake boobs. So, it only relates to the "free range" variety. Not sure about the harnessed ones. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: Ed T Date: 17 Sep 12 - 05:59 PM I suggest an experiment using sets of real and fake boobs being released at the same time, just as Newton did. To be unbiased, boobs of a variety of sizes should be used. One would have to keep boobophile gnu away from the experiment. Too much humidity may confound the result (and possibly gnu). |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: gnu Date: 17 Sep 12 - 06:18 PM Ed is right. I reeeeealyyyy like titties. 55 years old and I still go gaga fer em within reason... or reach. As for the OP's question, it does have gravitas. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: artbrooks Date: 17 Sep 12 - 06:22 PM Gravity, like evolution, is a theory. That means that it is subject to discussion and interpretation, especially in public schools in Texas. Some places require that alternative theories be taught - which is perhaps why more Texans than you'd think are a little light on their feet. |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: GUEST,999 Date: 17 Sep 12 - 09:48 PM The query shouldn't be one of real or fake. The question of importance is, "Do you believe in it?" |

Subject: RE: BS: Gravity: Real or Fake? From: GUEST,leeneia Date: 18 Sep 12 - 10:47 AM A modern physicist would say that there is no such thing as gravity. It's the curvature of space-time which makes things seem to fall or to orbit the sun. Me, I try to understand all that, but basically I'me going to remain Newtonian for the rest of my life. Being Newtonian goes well with playing I-IV-V chords. (I wonder how ER personnel would react if I said, "Space-time caused me to flow erratically down my stairs and now my humerus seems to be non-linear." Would they splint my arm or call a shrink?") |
