Subject: Rosehall Sessions 2012 (Scotland) From: John MacKenzie Date: 27 Aug 12 - 05:52 AM Once again this event is approaching fast. A chance to banish your Autumn blues, and to play and sing along with a great bunch of musicians. This year as an added treat we have a Saturday night concert, with floor spots from anybody who wants to perform, and a main guest in the shape of the great Joe Aitken. So if you like songs of the north east of Scotland, and bothy ballads, get yourself to Rosehall on the third weekend of October.(Bring yer ain nicky tams) That's 19th/20th, and 21st of October. Accomodation at reasonable rates is available at the hotel where it all happens. Achness Hotel 01549 441239 www.achnesshotelrosehall.co.uk Malcolm and Liz are the genial hosts, and the food is great! |

Subject: RE: Rosehall Sessions 2012 (Scotland) From: John MacKenzie Date: 27 Aug 12 - 04:13 PM Got the dates wrong, it must be old age. It's the next weekend 26th 27th and 28th October. Perhaps a nice clone can help me out by changing the dates in the original post. |

Subject: RE: Rosehall Sessions 2012 (Scotland) From: John MacKenzie Date: 21 Sep 12 - 12:46 PM Time for a wee reminder. I also forgot to mention that there will be a mini beer festival over the weekend. This is a promotion by Arran Breweries. Now if that doesn't persuade you to come, nothing will ! |

Subject: RE: Rosehall Sessions 2012 (Scotland) From: John MacKenzie Date: 26 Oct 12 - 11:13 AM Thanks Meg. It has arrived here too, but not too much so far. It would be sad if we were in the hotel and got snowed in. Wouldn't it? |

Subject: RE: Rosehall Sessions 2012 (Scotland) From: John MacKenzie Date: 29 Oct 12 - 06:15 AM No photo's I'm afraid. I was too busy worrying to take any, and once the Saturday evening feauture spot with the gtreat Joe Aitken was over, and all went well. I got pissed and was too drunk to take pic's. Thanks to all who helped make it such an enjoyablr occasion. Apart from me, there were no Mudcatters there. That's a first. |
