Need contact info From: open mike Date: 28 Jun 12 - 12:03 PM are you sure you do not mean john f weldon? he is a mudcat member, although the drop-down links that contain member info do not seem to be operational today. i posted a video that he did for the Canadian film board,and he has animated a song by the mcgarrigles, and there is often banjo music in his videos....so perhaps that is the guy you are looking for? |

Need contact info From: Thomas Stern Date: 28 Jun 12 - 12:53 PM Hi Open mike, There are a number of posts on mudcat which refer to PETER WELDON, the most recent in 2010 posted by John F., announcing a group named WHAT FOUR, described as "a bunch of legendary Montreal folkies.." which included PETER. I've PM'd John F, but no reply so far. A search indicates his participation in a number of recordings, as mentioned many McGarrigle sessions, also The Clarkes, The Rosemarys, Derek Lamb & Jean Carignan, etc. No website found, nor any background information. He was a member of the Mountain City Four with the McGarrigles and Jack Nissenson.
