Subject: Lyr/Sheet Music Req: Song of the Brass Key From: MorwenEdhelwen1 Date: 07 Jun 12 - 11:22 PM "On the streets of Spain, Love lies at your feet, ...Ladies beckon you, With a little key. Follow and you'll see There is a key, a key to my heart, If you can find " The lyrics above are all I can make out from the clip of YouTube. I also can't find the sheet music for this number, sung by the character of Clementina, the Spanish woman, in the play. Does anyone know where I could find the score? (Musicnotes is no help.) |

Subject: RE: Sheet Music Req: Song of the Brass Key From: GUEST,Grishka Date: 08 Jun 12 - 04:18 PM Here you go, Morwen: a vocal score of the whole operetta: http://archive.org/details/desertsongmusica00romb. I guess you want to sing it yourself; have fun! (Just crawls into my mind: "How did Wiscon sin? She stole a brand new brass key. Too bad that Arcan saw it, and so did Dennis see; ... she died in misery." I think I saw it somewhere at Mudcat.) |
