Subject: BS: Need help with wordpress From: GUEST,mg Date: 31 May 12 - 07:38 PM I need some help from someone who knows wordpress...I started something and know nothing about it and now my home computer is toast so I can not work on it at home for a while and obviously I can't use ;my work computer...it is for the new Songs for our Ancestors CD..which is very nice by the way... I basically just need something for now very basic..with lyrics (what is on there is wrong), connections to websites of performers etc...nothing fancy..just not awful. We can build as we go but now it is awful..was planning to fix it right after Folklife, which is now, but I might not have a computer to work on. Take a peak..it is nothing more than some scrambles right now... irishfaminecd.wordpress.com Someone who knew what they were doing could fix it to be presentable in 10 minutes I think. mg |

That is, Wordpress allows you and other people to post questions, comments of whatever on the site. Here's a link to our Wordpress site. We don't know a lot about Wordpress but first you must understand that the code for your site is in modules. Usually, to fix something you have to know which module the problem is in and then modify the code for that module. It's definitely tricky but we've done it with a lot of patience. Bev and Jerry |
