The first couple of lines are, "At a bar in the Gorbals, Just doon frae the orange halls, At a bar room he lay on the flair." and the chorus goes, "You picked a fine time to leave me Yvonne, With the rent over drew and the bank over drawn. I filled you with Buckfast, How long would our love last..." and now i cant even remember the chorus!! If anyone can help me please post ASAP!! |

The lyric submittal may have been by the author of the lyric, or it may have been from an "as sung by" version. I'm quite sure I've got a note on it somewhere, if I could just remember where I was keeping my notes of that kind back then. ... John |

I still can't find lyrics for the version I would like to hear--about a realistic fancy dress cow costume and stopping to bend down while taking a short cut across a field with a bull in it. It seems to have been done by the Barron Knights but they did a number of medleys of parodies of popular songs. Anyone know where this might be found? Thanks. |
