Subject: RE: Harvey Andrews Faldingworth Sat Dec 10th From: Brian May Date: 06 Dec 11 - 01:39 PM Well you might be John, there are few that the offer would be made to - especially in public. Judging by how your Martins have looked when I've seen them, and sounded when I heard them, I'm confident it's in safe hands. If you wish to, send me a PM. Take care and have fun. |

Subject: RE: Harvey Andrews Faldingworth Sat Dec 10th From: Arthur_itus Date: 10 Dec 11 - 08:13 PM May I just say, what a wonderful evening from Harvey Andrews tonight at Faldingworth Live. John Conolly warmed the audience beforehand with an excellent 30 minutes.. The folk world will badly miss Harvey when he retires next year. This man has charisma and stage craft. If you young up and coming acts want to know how to entertain the audience, then go and study Harvey. You will learn a lot, and some of you may wonder why organisers do not always book you. Great stuff Harvey and you sent the audience home in a very happy mood and ready for Christmas. Thank you. |

Subject: RE: Harvey Andrews Faldingworth Sat Dec 10th From: Backwoodsman Date: 11 Dec 11 - 02:40 AM Aye, there's many a good tune played on an old fiddle (or guitar) - just ask Mrs. Fenswoman! Glad you had a good 'un (but we all knew you would, didn't we?) and sorry I missed it, but I was supporting the Gainsborough Choral Society, the High School Choir, the High School Swing Band, and Lincoln Pro-Musica Orchestra in an evening of 'Carols For All'. We had a good 'un too! Best wishes to Harvey as he moves towards the final curtain on a brilliant, fabulous career, and thankyou, thankyou, a thousand times thankyou, Harvey, for gracing us with your talent, and for leaving us a store of magnificent songs. You will definitely not be forgotten. |
