Subject: RE: Shatner Thanksgiving drama From: Bert Date: 25 Nov 11 - 12:41 AM Been there, done that! On the kitchen stove no less. I didn't have one of those fancy hook things. Just used a couple of bent up wire coat hangers, so I was able to lift out the turkey and put the fire out without getting burned. |

Subject: RE: Shatner Thanksgiving drama From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 25 Nov 11 - 07:05 PM My son-in-law is a sculptor/foundryman who regularly works with molten metals. When he fries a turkey, he wears the same protective gear he does when doing an iron pour. Maybe it's overkill, but he hasn't been burned yet. |
