I used to have an icon for gmail in my toolbar. Yahoo recently
Improved" their service and my icon for Gmail disappeared.
Their help menu is gobbledegook.
Any ideas?

Hi, Kendall-
Try this:

  • Go to the home page for your e-mail, or to the page where you sign in - your choice
  • In the address bar, before the URL (address) for that Website, you should see an icon
  • Drag that icon where you want it - your toolbar, your Start button, or your desktop

To drag, point to an item and click on it with your left mouse button and hold that button down. The mouse should then be able to move the item where you want it.

Hope that helps.

Now, if that doesn't do it, tell us what browser you have, and we can tell you a couple more tricks.

-Joe-
