One of the Montreal radio stations about 30 some odd years ago did one about the Queen Mother visiting Canada, specifically Quebec. They said that because the City of Montreal was cost-cutting in an attempt to balance its budget, she would have to stay in a $35/night motel room on the south shore. The lines lit up. |
