Bob talks to Ben Eldridge and members of Seldom Scene about their urban approach to bluegrass and what it means to be working musicians. Their latest CD - "Scenchronized" – has been nominated for a Grammy this year.
Sadly, they didn't win. But a good interview, up to Edwards's usual standards -- lot of good memories about the band. Download the podcast here (click me).

Ben Eldridge is the only founding member left, although he is occasionaly joined by Tom Gray, Mike Auldridge and John Starling as the "Seldom Seniors". Nobody can ever replace John Duffey.

Bob Edwards and the Seldom Scene, Classics! I remember the Scene playing Hail to the Redskins on autumn afternoons at RFK and seeing them all around town and Colonel Bob every weekday morning on NPR.
