Subject: Kiveton Park (Sheffield)FC open on 25th. From: GUEST,Andy Date: 24 Dec 07 - 06:15 AM Just want to reiterate a point made by Sooz in my recent post about our December guest night(18th Dec). Kiveton Park Folk Club will be open for business on Xmas night. This follows a 37 year tradition of opening every Tuesday, come Hell or high water. Can't guarantee how many will be there as family committments take precedence at this time of year but I've got assurances from about a dozen so far. There'll be a bit of seasonal grub for free, no entrance charge and a free raffle for a bottle of plonk. Looking forward to a 'casual'night of song, some festive, some otherwise. Open to all, as usual, so if you fancy getting away from the telly/in-laws/kids/grandkids, please feel free to come on down. Regards and seasons greetings Andy |
